I was asked recently to make a screenshot of a command I typed in at the DOS prompt in Windows XP, to show the statement that I received at the time. I was unable to do so as I never knew of this possibility. Can anyone please help me? Thanks in advance.1 person needs an answerI do too

Try pressing the ALT and Print Screen keys at the same time. This should place it on the clipboard. Open up Paint or any graphic program of your choosing and Paste it in. Save it as a JPG file and send it as an attachment to your email. Microsoft Security MVP, 2004 - 2009

I have tried ALT and Print Screen keys before and nothing happens. I have also tried Control & Print Screen too with no success. Thanks for the info.
