I actually inherited a TMG 2010 STD server that act as firewall and web filter and it was apparently working fine. Problem is I need to extend this solution to another sites connected over a 1MB WAN on same domain.

I tried just adding this TMG to their browsers configuration of course it worked, but apparently browser is requesting TMG the access and all web content is coming through this 1MB link. Of course when I set 10 user at same time link becomes totally saturated.

Is there a way I can set client just to check the URL filtering rules on TMG server and then get the data directly from the Internet, not from the TMG server? I tried disabling Web Cache, but it did not work.

Hi,

Based on your description, you are web proxy client.

If you want customers to directly access internet, you can try to change client type to SecureNat.

You just need to configure TMGs IP as your customers default gateway.

You need to delete configuration of proxy in your browser.
