TCPIP interface issue
Hello,
The problems is occurring in this registry string HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Interfaces
Every time I image another machine (or swap a hard drive) my TCPIP interface creates a new one different from the original. This doesn't happen with other Laptops running Win 7 and it doesn't happen with XP on the same CF-31AG device. I'm pretty confused, please
help.

Hi,
Thanks for the post!
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Interfaces\ID for Adapters
The ID for Adapter is the network adapter that TCP/IP is bound to. To determine the relattionship between an Adapter ID and a network connection, view HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\<ID
for Adapter>\Connection. The Name value in these keys provides the friendly name for a network connection that is used in the Network Connections folder.
How about your network connection?
Do you install the right adapter driver? You can copy the driver from the right computer then install it on this problematic one to check if it works.
Regards,
Miya
