I asking if anyone is able to use their capture device like tv tuner. I am unable to watch T.V on my computer. I use a tv@anywhere plus by msi. I have no problem with this setup in xp and vista but in windows 7 no picture. I do get sound but no picture. I try media center no picture, I try the software for tv anywhere and the same thing. Windows 7 has installed and recognized the device. I'm smarter than my computer

is there a place in the TV options where you can choose "overlay" or "not"? Sometimes overlay won't work.vid card? latest driver?capture device - latest driver?Just a thought.From the manual, I saw a note "tv video always on top" and I wondered if maybe another "on-top" app is conflicting with it.When scanning the channels assure you are using correct HRC, IRC, or ""normal" for your USA source. (or whatever, for your country)Check and play with settings in the capture tab. Like video input format.Video tab: check or uncheck "don't use overlay", and "always on top" -, etc - try different settings. Probably have to end and restart app to see results.Initially disable PIP or do not enable it.Check your vid card settings for overlay.It seems like a fine card with supurb documentation, and a Conexant chip, which is fairly common. Should work.Maybe try install app and driver with Vista compatability?, though I would doubt that's your prob.I am using a AutumnWave OnAir GT USB HDTV box with no problems.Maybe other folks could chime in here with what they've got that works/doesn't work.Good luck! My Genius usb tv stick. The software is installated but does not start;up.Compabtibility check says ok.I try to work around it with vista drivers, but no good.it worked on XPIt does not on W7, not in mediacenter and not on nero mediacenter. Strangly it does do the channel search functions and dispays founded channelsFor you as answere> search driver updates In Google I found many drivers, search on only product names and numbers.Or together with driver, or driver download.Wish you all the bestR.C. In addition to drivers, is there any documentation as to specific CODEC(s) needed ? And, if so, are the appropriate CODECs installed ?
