System start up and rebooting
When booting up my desktop the system boots normally until it goes past the bios and windows starts to load. The screen goes blank and nothing starts. If I power down and reboot all starts normally. This will continue to occur normally no matter how many times it is shut down that day. However, the next day the same problem develops.1 person needs an answerI do too

This is usually caused by hardware, most often a failing power supply. The power supply doesn't have enough "juice" to get the hard drive spinning the first time. The second time the hard drive has enough momentum to spin up completely. The fix in that case is to replace the power supply. It could also be a motherboard issue where a connection isn't being made when the machine is cold but is being made when the components heat up. Of course, I can't be sure without testing hands-on so you may want to do some hardware testing yourself or take the computer to a reputable local professional (not a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place).http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_TshootMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
