System stalls after logon, CPU running @ 100%
The system stalls after I logon. It is like one of the startup programs runs but will not finish. The CPU is left running at 100%The system will work but very slow and the CPU just keep heating up.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi, You can have a look at your startup programs by the start menu in Startup folder or by MSCONFIG and looking at the startup services and programs?Have you performed a malware scan?

Hi sorry it took so long to get back I have been out to town for a while.Yes I ahve done a malware scan, comes up clean. What am I looking for in the startup file?? or in MSCONFIG??Thanks

Hi, You can also have a look at task manager (right click the taskbar and select Task Manager) to see what what process is using the most RAM (Memory) and CPU. This way we can disable it in Startup or look at why its using the CPU to 100%
