System restore
I recently obtained a virus and wanted to shut off my system restore, yet when I look for it there is no tab for system restore in my My Computer properties. I am the only one who uses it. I had purchased the comuter from the university I formerly went to and wonder if they turned it off or hid it in some way and how can I retreive it1 person needs an answerI do too

Try this: Control Panel \ System \ System Restore Tab \ Put check mark in Turn Off System RestoreAfter you've cleared the virus and rebooted, go back and take check mark out.You should then create a new restore point here:All Programs \ Accessories \ System Tools \ System RestoreHTHRosiePlease post back to this thread with results or if you need more assistance.
