System not working
My Toshiba Tecra is running on Xp Professional; service pack 3.
Today it started showing errors such as "cant access volume control" then I got realize that other functions like "paste, task bar, System Restore are unavailable.My anti virus (Mcafee) is also not working.
All drivers are also not working so I cant connect it to the internet.
Someone help please!!1 person got this answerI do too

thank you. That answered my questions. But leaves me now with technical battles. The links are helpful and the info makes sense. But I'm still familiarizing myself with the Recovery console. It is a little different from the normal command prompt.
I'm so disappointed with McAfee for failing to address the situation, and instead resorting to pep talk while consumers are suffering at their hands when they were supposed to be protecting them.
