System fails for boot up after deleting administrator account
Hi.Is there a way to boot up a PC after the admin account was deleted? Windows is still prompting to select User Name but when I enter the admin password I get a message "Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. The problem may be the result of insufficient security rights". A series of other error messages are displayed but it does not log me in. I've tried F8 for safe mode but it does not go into safe mode. I'm using Windows XP Home. Thanks for any suggestions.1 person needs an answerI do too

If you can't get into Safe Mode, please try booting to Last Known Good Configuration. You'll find this option on the same diagnostic menu as Safe Mode. If not, there is a method to run System Restore from the Recovery Console but it is complicated and not foolproof, so please let me know what happens with LKGC first.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
