System Tray Network Connection Icon
Since Windows Vista, We have been unable to right-click the Network Connection icon, and choose "Status" to quickly check a connections IP Address, and edit it's settings.Being a network administrator, it is frustrating and unneccesary to go through the "Network and sharing center" to perform such a simple task.I would love to see the "Status" option reappear in the right-click menu.

Another simple way to bring up that information is by typing cmd in to the search bar in the start menu and press enter, and typing in ipconfig.

Mr. Ross, you can remove the Network icon by going to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Notification Area Icons > Turn system icons on or off On the Network, at Behaviors select Off.
