The bar across the bottom of the screen is the system tray? When the computer first starts icons ate shown here and eventually all are loaded. I have about 6 or 7. The problem is that every startup does not load all 6 or 7. Sometimes 3 or 4. Then again all are loaded. How can I get it to load all every time. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!Well, your issue not with loading, your issue with showing up. Try to make these icons to Show Always by going to the properties of the taskbar then click on Taskbar >> Hide inactive icon (click on Customize..) and make sure the option Always Show is set! nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk

No. It's the Task Bar (and it's not necessarily on the bottom of thescreen; it can be on any of the four sides you prefer it on). The Task bar is divided into three or four sections. From left toright (normally) these are 1. The Start button 2. The Quick Launch Bar and/or other toolbars. Note that all thetoolbars are optional and they don't have to be on the Task Bar; theTask Bar can be left on the bottom of the screen, but tool bars can bedragged off of it, and docked on other sides of the screen. 3. The main par of the Task Bar, where an icon appears for eachprogram you have running. When you minimize a program, that's the onlyplace the program appears. 4. The System Notification Area, also informally known as the SystemTray. Here is the clock and icons for some running programs, normallythose that started automatically at bootup and are running in thebackground. > When the computer first starts icons ate shown here and eventually all are loaded. Then almost certainly what you are asking about is the SystemNotification Area. > I have about 6 or 7. The problem is that every startup does not load all 6 or 7. Sometimes 3 or 4. Which ones load?
