System Restore & Quick Launch Icon Problem
Ok here is my first problem last evening I found Spyware on my computer and before I removed it I wanted to turn off System Restore so that after I removed the Spyware I could do a reboot but I could not find where to turn off System Restore it was not where it should be like it is in XP and Vista did they rename it or just put is some where else where it could not be found lolHere is my Second Question Sometimes I like to take icon or files and move them to the Quick Launch bar by right clicking and draging them to the bar and clicking on Move Here I tried doing this last night and I did not see the option for Move Here I saw a bunch of other stuff that I had no idea what to do the only thing that came close was something called Pin Here I tried it but nothing happend can someone please tell me how to put a icon or file in the Quick Launch Bar and before you ask I did unlock the TaskbarThanks in Advance

kram_nella,The taskbar is not the same as the quicklaunch bar (which can still be added).Pin to the taskbar is the option you would want. If you just right click on the file, you should see both pin to taskbar and pin to startmenu. Applications don't pin, but shortcuts do. However, if you try to pin an Excel file, it will createa button for the Excel program and will have the document pinned to the menu (you have to hover over the excel button to get that list).If you right click on the 'Computer' icon and choose 'Properties', and new window will open. On the left pane, choose the 'System Protection' link. There is a button to configure the restore settings.

Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System. Click "System protection" in the left column, and you can then configure your system restore in the "Protection Settings" section. Quick Launch has changed and is now part of the window switching functionality in the taskbar. Right click a file and select "Pin to taskbar" to keep it on your taskbar at all times.
