System Interrupts high CPU usage
ok so i get these system interrupt issues that take sometimes 15 or sometimes 25% of my CPU on startup. the only way to get rid of this is by restarting the computer. I did a analyses on the CPU and got this.

it seems like when i open up Ataport.sys then the Root Ntoskrnl.exe is what is giving me the high CPU usage but when i open Ntoskrnl.exe Ataport.sys comes up again and the numbers are high on that too. and honestly i can't find anything to fix this. people said it's drivers issue or one said it was his head set and one said his extra graphics card. i have all my drivers downloaded for my motherboard and all my driver on my GTX 570 is up to date and i got 1 headphone with a mic that is hooked up to the back of the motherboard headphone/mic jacks. if someone can help me to find the cause of this problem it will be much appreciated.

Hi,

We wonder if there is any luck your issue has been resolved. you could share your solution with us if the issue has been resolved or give us some feedback by answering question from communities.

The ataport.sys is used to support your Windows hardware device driver ATAPI Driver Extension. In many cases, if the driver ATAPI Driver Extension becomes corrupted or outdated, you might experience some issues or even receive ataport.sys blue screen of death (BSOD), so the best suspect should be your device drivers. To identify the problematic driver, as mentioned by MVP ZigZag, the trace file might be helpful.

Since you mentioned that this issue occurs when startup, check the drivers loaded during startup.
