System Administrator issues
I was told if I ran "msconfig", I could reduce my boot up time by eliminating some of the programs under the "START UP" tab. When the System Configuration Utility Screen came up, the "GENERAL" tab showed I was in "Selective Startup". I changed it to "Normal Mode" and clicked on "Apply". A new "System Configuration" Window came up and said "An Access Denied error was returned while attempting to change the service. You may need to log using an Administrative account to make the specified changes". Problem is that all users on the computer (3) have administrative rights. In following Mark Ferguson's answer to a previous question on turning on UAC, the UAC window never showed a "Turn User Account Control on or off" prompt. Kind of lost as to how to get back to "Normal Startup" 1 person needs an answerI do too
