Syncing files before shut down
I have Win 7 (64bit) installed on two computers. I use a file syncing program (Goodsync) to keep them current with each other through a NAS device. My program is set up to sync the computer with the NAS upon Windows shut down. I has always worked just fine. But lately, Win 7 is not allowing the Goodsync program to complete its syncing. Previously when Windows closed, one would see the dialog box that indicates a program is still function and it give me the choice of waiting or forcing the working program to close. Now the shut down screen shows up, with no options, and just closes down, not allowing Goodsync to finish its job. This is happening on both computers, I have not changed the Goodsync program, but have checked to be sure it is configured appropriately, it is. I have a feeling that one of the latest Windows System upgrades has changed something. It seems to try to think for me, the upgrades have moved my files and all sorts of things. What settings can I change to allow my Goodsync program to finish its syncing? Thank you

Please temporary disable the firewall and antivirus and check the result. If the issue does not occur, you have to check the configurations of these programs. Also you can see if re-enable or reinstall the security programs can resolve this issue. If the issue still occurs after you disable antivirus and firewall, I suggest you reinstall the sync program.
