SyncMaster T240 .Syncmaster Magic T240(Driver) Driver
I've got the black screen from this 16 month old Samsung Monitor in which Microsoft report the driver okay and Samsung say they haven't written a driver for Windows 7. Any ideas other than wait till the heavens fall for the screen to work again. After 2 hours I got a 1 second flash of my welcome screen and the screen returned to black.

Hi, There is a way to Install a Hardware Device Driver using Compatibility Mode, but I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of that hardware device and inquire about future driver support for Windows 7. My problem solved. Samsung replaced the screen and its now working. Change of hardware!? Wrong answer from their support!? I found it was not a compatability issue when I connected a laptop with XP on it and it gave the same black screen!
