Switching networks while laptop is asleep? Authentication?
Lets say I am at work and logged in to our domain, I have a couple websites open in my browser (one being CRM). I then close my laptop, put it to sleep and go home. I then open up my laptop, wake it up and it then automatically connects to my wireless network at home. I then open my browser and try to refresh or click on a link on the CRM webpage that was left open, it asks me to authenticate and I then get an Error Code 403: The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. This website that I was logged into when I closed my laptop is available outside of our internal network, via the same URL. It works fine, if I shut off my laptop and go home. problem is just when the laptop is put to sleep. I'm not sure what to do. I am the server admin. ;) haha Ideas? Thanks! Randy

It's most likely because your network has changed. The credentials probably also contain network location information of some sort. You're trying to restore an active session that was logged in from a different network and you're no longer located on that network.

That's why I posted...I want to find out THE reason for this, so I can explain it to the users that are having this problem...and my users are pretty technical people. Anyone know WHY this happens?
