Hi ikewil,· What happens if you press windows key and “L” key simultaneously on your keyboard? Are you able to switch user?Try the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.Step 1:a. Click Start, click Run, type "services.msc" (without quotes), and then click OK.b. Locate the "Terminal Service" and make sure that the service is started.Step 2:Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756a. Click Start, click Run, type "regedit" (without quotes), and then click OK.b. Navigate to the following key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Systemc. In the right pane, locate the key "HideFastUserSwitching" and double click on it.d. Change the Value data to "0" (without quotes).e.
