Svchost excessive read/write to repository store.xml
Using Process Monitor Sysinternals on Windows XP SP3. Monitoring svchost that try to writes to a store.xml file i repository.Svchost writes to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Provisioning\ with "name collision" errors. After manually created the store.xml file I get "success" on the file itself but not the folders that still generates error.Been searching all over for information on this behaviour and how to turn it off. Indexing services has been turned off.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi, I would suggest you to disable the Network Provisioning service on the system and check whether the issue persists. Follow the steps mentioned below.a. Click on Start and then click on Run.b. Type services.msc in the Run box and the press Enter to open the Services window.c. Locate ‘Network Provisioning service’ and then right click on it.d.
