Surface Pro 3, attempted dual boot, black screen unresponsive.

Hey there, (wasn't sure of forum category)

I attempted a dual boot on my Surface Pro 3 i5 256gb 8gb ram of Console OS (android based OS, http://consoleos.com/).

I took the necessary steps including disabling bitlocker and and de-encrypting the drive, as instructed.

Everything was going as intended until i reached the screen "Do you want to preserve Windows? Y/N?"

I hit y followed by enter, it didn't appear to register on the screen. So i did it again.

Shortly there after, the screen went black. It is unresponsive, including the power button. I can increase/decrease the keyboard backlight, which is blinking.

Any advice on what to do or go from here?

Hi JerShin,

How did you dual boot the machine?
Here is a link for reference of dual boot Windows 10 may be useful.

It seems that we have misconfigured the dual boot and the machine won`t boot.
Can we get into the Windows RE mode?
We could choose the "Startup Repair" of the Windows RE mode to have a fix.
If it is not availabe to boot the machine anymore, we could choose to boot from a recovery image. We could get a recovery image here.
