Suggestion: Windows Managed Program Updates
Is there a way Microsoft could develop an open system for managing software updates from multiple vendors. I know that drivers are managed through windows updates but it would be nice if programs like Adobe Acrobat, Flash Player, Java Runtime, iTunes and a slew of other programs could also be managed this way. The primary benefit would be fewer system resources dedicated to all of these auto update services running constantly. It would also improve the consistency, look and feel of the installation experience making it easier for casual users to keep their systems updated.

Hi, Thanks for your suggestion. Meantime, I have a workaround for you. You may use GPO to deploy the software or update the software. But the prerequisite is the setup file of the software must be based on MSI format. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
