Stuck on public network (its greyed out)
I am working in an organiztion, i usually get probems related to comp not browsing. when i go to check in open network and sharing...under view your active networks it shows me public network and its greyed out. I am not able to change it to work network. i will only b able to browse internet if its on work network. is there any way in which u can help me sort out my issue....how do i remove the greyed public network?? K.R

Hi, Based on my research, please try the following: 1. Please make sure that the following services are enabled and running. - DNS Client - Function Discovery Resource Publication - SSDP Discovery - UPnP Device Host 2. Run this Microsoft Fixit and see how it works. Hi Jeremy, the services you mentioned are running. i can not run Microsoft Fixit as i cant even get connected to internet. Any other suggestions plzzzz :)K.R
