I'm running Vista Home Premium x64 SP2 and when I attempted to install the latest update, my computer has entered itself in a never ending loop of Configuring Updates: stage 3 of 3 0% and then it just restarts with nothing installed. I am going insane and any help is appreciated.

For example, a third-party antivirus or antispyware application may cause this problem.
