Streaming to external BLU-RAY while simultaneously enabling speaker output?
Hi everyone. I have Win 7 x64 and am able to "PLAY TO" and external BLU-RAY home theatre. However, my computer is located away from the blu ray, and close to a second set of speakers which I would like to use simultaneously. Unfortunately, I am only able to use the Media player to play to the speakers, or ALTERNATIVELY, the "Play To" option to stream to the BLU-RAY, but I have not found a way to have both the "PLAY TO" and my laptop's speaker output jack stream music simultaneously in synchronization (I can see a "play" button for each, so technically I can send audio to both, but I can not synchronize this output). Is this even possible? I don't see why I wouldn't be able to listen to my speakers simultaneously with the music streamed to an external device through "play to" thanks!!

Based on your description, you cannot play to your speaker and the blu-ray home theatre at the same time. You can only set the speaker OR the blu-ray home theatre as your default sound output device. Regards, MiyaMiya Yao TechNet Community Support
