Strange issue with Network Shares
We recently migrated everyone to Windows 7 and upgraded our server infrastructure to Server 2008 R2. One user in particular has recently had a strange issue with new files she creates. She creates new files from Server A and stores them in a share on Server B (mapped). From her workstation she goes to the mapped drive and the files don't appear to be there. This files are simply small text files. Logging onto Server B i can see that the files are indeed there but it's almost like her workstation isn't refreshing the directory (even after hitting refresh). Just in case it was something in explorer i also tried going to the share via the command prompt and listing the files and directories which indicated the exact same information. Any thoughts?? Thus far she's the only one i have seen with this issue. She also does this task more often than others.

Hello, Can you see if there is off line synchronization enabled on the share? If so, see if toggling from off-line to on-line shown the folder. The toggle button is right above the folders list when you access the server share using a UNC path. You will see organize, sync, burn and work off line (or on line). Click the work off-line/on-line button to see if toggling it shows the files and folders. Chazzie Naki K. / Falcon IT Services IT Manager for Mextone Corp.

Hi, Please check if the other users have the same issue. Also, try to use \\IP Address to check whether the file is visible.
