Strange empty Chinese ? folders appearing
Guys, Have recently started moving a client over from an old XP based P2P network to a new Windows 7 Based P2P network. When browsing folders on the new W7 file server - I can sometimes see what look like empty Chinese folders appearing. Any assistance would be appreciated. Many thx. Mick

Can you collect a screenshot for the werid folders? it's better to upload it to a public folder. Please let us know if your current windows 7 system is Chinese version? Are your computers in a domian? First, please test if other computer have the same issue when they connect to the W7 file server. If you don't have the right to read and write these folders, the folder would not be created by your computer. In addition, you can using the following steps to find out the owner of those folder.1. Right click the werid folder, choose Properties.2. Change to the Security tab, and click the Advanced button.3. Change to the Owner tab, now you would be able to know the current owner of the folder.
