Strange Problem
Win7 home.
Created 4 user accounts, Shaun, Jack, Bill and one named tom.
Now go to c:\user and I see the accounts Shaun, jack and bill but the tom account is named Family, yet at the windows log in it shows tom and their is no family account.
Tom can log into his account and all works fine. You just can't see account Tom in c:\users. The tom account is going to c:\family.
I have the same thing going on another set of computers.
How can I get the c:\user to reflect the 4 user accounts on the pc.

Hi,
Please open Computer Management=>Hit Local Users and Groups in the Navigate pane=>Double click the account name of Tom=>Check the profile path.
Also, you may try to modify the profile path in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Profile List, then change the folder name to Tom for a test. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
