Startup repair cannot repair the computer, the computer is not booting
1. Try select Last known... in F8 menu and return to the last working status.
2. Why Safe mode is not option? (Remember you are sitting at the computer, we do not.)
3. Try in-place upgrade.

I shut down my desktop last night but it's not booting now. It's windows 7, 64-bit software. It says "startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically." I tried to enter safe mode but it's not an option. The problem details are:

I only updated the IOS for my iPod and downloaded VisualBasic.net recently. I did restart the computer after the installation. The computer worked fine last night. Any expert can please help me repair the computer??
