Startup problems, required to boot from cd, don't understand why.
I think my computer had a virus a while back. Don't know what happened, wife came home one day and the computer wouldn't start up. Used to be XP 64 bit on my computer, but in order to avoid losing all the data on my hard drive that would have resulted from reformatting the hard drive, i had to reinstall using xp 32 bit, the only version I had a copy of at the house. Since I did this, its been requiring my to have my xp 32 bit installation cd in everytime the computer boots up/restarts. How can I fix this? Am I going to have to reformat the hard drive and make a clean install of xp 32 bit? Thanks1 person needs an answerI do too
