Starting over with COM ports
Hello,
I've gone through so many USB devices on my Windows 7 installations that create COM ports, or virtual COM ports, etc. I have some deployments out there with COM23. This sometimes causes problems with some applications that never expected a
COM port over 3 or so.
Is there a way I can blow away some keys in the registry so that Windows COM port #'s start over again? Say, COM2 ?
Thank you in advance!!
