Starting AOL VR crashes Vista to a Blue screen
Have a brand new computert running Windows Vista Home Premium. Have installed Routers and can access the web via Internet Explorer. Loaded AOL vr and when I go to use it, it crashes the pc as soon as it looks for the connection. The Blue screen info is
Driver IRQL-NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL
STOP: 0X000000D1 (0X00000014,2,0,OX8AFDOF7C)
:ndisuio.sys-address 8AFDOF7C base at 8AFC000,DATESTAMP 4549B2F2
Anyone any ideas
Thanks

Managed to get the system running last night.
Method: Take out the wireless adaptor (WPN111 Netgear) and then start AOL vr,so that its looking for the Adaptor. This allowed me to get in and Manually set the aol programme ( I copied settings from a copy working on XP) Saved passwords etc, then started AOL again. As it is doing that put the adaptor back in.
Not very satisfactory but got it going.
Have found a Vista update for the WPN 111 and will try that tonight

Did the upgrade to the wpn111 driver help?I've just upgraded a friend's pc to Vista and had exactly the same problem. It's using a wpn111 with the old (pre-vista) driver and blue screened when AOL 9VR installed.Managed to uninstall AOL and it's fine now - can access internet using ie7.I'm happy to upgrade to the latest netgear driver, but don't want to risk re-installing AOL until I know it's likely to work ok!Any additional info welcomed.Cheers,BobW
