Standard User Security Question
We are trying to allow developers to run as a standard user. Is it possible to run task manager and install a dll into the GAC assembly using a standard user ? Is there a way to add permissions for either of these without enabling the user to be an admin? Thanks!

You can run the taskmgr program as a Standard User, but its a limited view (user cannot see all running processes & services running under other users & such) & it's limited in what the user can perform. Admin rights are required to install a dll into the GAC assembly. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/815808
