Spoolsv.exe inactivates the mouse cursor in text required fields
Everytime a program requiring a text field entry, the Spoolsv.exe stops the use of the cursor. Therefore, I must click on the mouse everytime to reactivate the field to enter a letter. One at a time. I've also noticed the active window bar fades out when this happens. Turns back on after clicking mouse cursor only to fade again 3 seconds later.I am using Windows XP Professional SP3 and my printer is on a home network. No other computers on the network are having this problem. No virus or spyware found using Stopzilla and Trend Micro Antivirus scans1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi alxrays, 1. What is the type of mouse you are using?2. Have you made any recent changes on the computer?3. How do you know that Spoolsv.exe is causing the issue? I would suggest that you stop and restart the Print spooler service on the computer.a) Click Start, click Run, type mmc, and then clickO K. b) On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in. c) Click Add, click Computer Management, click Add, and then click Finish. d) Click Close, and then click OK. e) Expand Computer Management, expand Services and Applications, and then click Services.f) Right-click Print Spooler and then click Properties.g) Now stop and restart the service.h) Click Apply and OKNow check if the issue persists. Hope this helps!Halima S - Microsoft Support.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
