Speech Recognition Error Message
I keep getting this error message Please Restart Speech Recognition. Speech Recognition encountered an error. Please restart Speech Recognition to ensure that you can continue to use Speech Recognition. I have restarted it and I have tried to do the MsConfig
thing and hide the Microsoft stuff and disable everything else that did not work my computer is a loaner from school and it did not come with the software CD so I can not reinstall it. What else can I do? My operating system is Windows 7.

Hi,
Speech Recognition feature needs the integrated microphone to work properly. Therefore, check if the microphone device is plugged and drivers are installed correctly?
You also can go to Device Manager to
update the audio driver for testing.
In addition, please go to
Region and Language Settings and change location to another location.
After that, please reboot. If it doesn't work, please change back to original settings and try the
System File Checker to test the issue.
