Special keyboard keys causing double action
I have a Genius wired keyboard with a row of special keys at the top (media/web/calculator/sleep etc). I am finding that pressing the 'calculator' key causes TWO instances of the calculator to run. This happens every time. The same applies to the 'email' key, but not AFAICT to any of the other special keys. I'm running Win7 RC x64. Recent install (a few days). No specific keyboard drivers - just the Standard PS/2 Keyboard driver.

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. Are there two calculators installed on your computer? I recommend you set one of them as the default program. To do this, please take the following steps. 1. Click the Start button, and click Default Programs in the right of Start Panel. 2. Click Set your default programs. 3. In Set your default programs panel, you can select a program and click Set this program as default. 4. Click OK and click back off button to return Default Programs panel. 5. Click Set program access and computer defaults. 6. Expand Custom item, and you can choose the default web browser, default e-mail program and so on. 7. Click OK and see if it works. If the issue persists, please look into related program settings to see if you can configure. By the way, I will change the thread type toGeneral Discussion currently. If the issue is resolved, please let us know andwe'll changeit to resloved issue so as to help other community users who encounters the similar issue. Best Regards. Dale Qiao

I have this issue too... I'm using final Win 7 x64. But in my case this problem applies to special keys as "Mute" too. So I don't think it's caused by default program settings. Have you any suggestions?
