Source: volmgr; Error ID: 45
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate N 64 bit and recently I replaced my Samsung HD with an Intel SSD. This migration is done by creating an immage backup of the Samsung 160 Gb HD en restore this immage on the 80 Gb Intel SSD. The SSD is my C: drive and the Samsung my D: drive. No problems untill I added a second Samsung 160 Gb HD to my system and created a striped data drive. Still the system works fine but the systemlog shows a this error. - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="volmgr" /> <EventID Qualifiers="49156">45</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>0</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2010-07-11T07:33:22.878812800Z" /> <EventRecordID>18691</EventRecordID> <Channel>System</Channel> <Computer>WS5-Braam3</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>\Device\HarddiskVolume2</Data> <Binary>0000000001000000000000002D0004C003200000BB0000C000000000000000000000000000000000</Binary> </EventData> </Event> The common error title: "Het systeem kan het crashdumpstuurprogramma niet laden." In English "System is not able to load the crashdumpprogram". Can somebody tell me what went wrong and how to resolve this error?

Hi, Based on my research, I would like to answer you that the error is just an internal operation. Please understand that Event Log records almost every detail internal operation. If there is a "fail", it just means certain internal operation fails once, but it does not mean that the operation is not completed finally. Besides, sometimes a "fail" log even does not mean a real failure, it is something which necessarily occurs during Multi-Process. Please be sure that only the "Interface Symptom" means problems. Since the system is working fine currently, you can just ignore it. However, if you would like to troubleshoot the issue, I suggest you perform the following steps. 1. Run Check Disk to fix disk errors. 2. Upgrade the Motherboard driver and the device driver. Thanks, Novak

I am a subscribed user of DriverGenius Pro and once a month I run this tool for checking driver updates. There were no new drivers and also no new firmware for my Intel SSD. I have run seperatly the check disk on boot time on C: (Intel SSD) and D: striped (two Samsung) drives. According to the checkdisk verbose there were no errors found to correct but still this error appears into the systemlog.
