Why does Windows 7 sort the icons in REVERSE alphabetic order? I have to sort them twice, to get then in alphabetic order.

I guess it's another bug. Why, after publishing numerous versions of Windows, can't Microsoft produce one that works?!

I've been wondering about this since the first Win 7 release. I often just drag stuff to the Desktop but don't want the positions locked. When I want to clean it up I have to sort by name, then sort by name again because it puts everything in reverse order. I think that's a cool feature but I just wnat to sort them once. Shouldn't there by a shortcut key like Windows key + F5 or something that just re-arranges them? MCTS 70-620 Certified

I get the same thing, windows 7 32 bit, click sort, it does it reversed, then sort again, and its correct. <sigh>
