When I launch Sony Vegas 13, it gets stuck on "Initializing DirectX Plug-ins" then it crashes and gives me this error:

I think it may be to do with me attempting to make an old program work by ticking the "Install DirectX 8" button on the installer.

An update to Vegas Pro 13 software was posted on April 29, 2014.

sony vegas >>>vorbis.acm

How to fix it : 

First Replace in C:\Windows\System32 >> vorbis.acm to your desktop

Run Sony Vegas 

Put vorbis.acm back
