Son deleted user account and I desperately need my work files
My son thought deleted other user accounts would speed up the computer so he deleted two of my accounts. Yes, it is now password protected and he cannot do anything anymore. So, how do I get back the deleted accounts or at least the files? One place showed me a directory which listed accounts and to click on the ones with an X to bring them back up but they weren't there. Is there a dos path?Is there a run path? This is rediculous and URGENT.1 person got this answerI do too

If your son chose to delete the user files performing a system restore will not restore the files since system restore does not monitor personal data. I recommend you stop using the computer at all, although it may already be too late, to prevent overwriting the lost data. Download and install Recuva from Piriform. It is a file recovery software and is completely free. I use it quite a bit myself and used it just last week to recover over 45 videos accidentally deleted by a customer. You can customize the scan to detect only certain file types/extensions.http://www.piriform.com/recuvaI don't vote for myself I'm not here for the points. If this post helps you, vote.
