Sometimes when I connect to a public network, I can connect but I don't gain internet access...Why is that?
Sometimes when I connect to a public unsecure network, I can connect to their network but I don't always gain internet access. Other times I do gain internet access. I was just at a coffee shop and couldn't gain internet access and now I'm at a bookstore
chain and I connected right away. Is there a firewall preventing me access at certains times? How can I remedy this troubleshoot?

It could be the coffee shop provider is off-line, or more likely they did not pay the bill
