Something that i found
Hey guys. click start and type in "disc" and you will see "create a system repair disc". basically, i think this is awesome because i believe this is like the reinstallation disc that comes with most computer brands with preinstalled windows OS and now if you lose it, or buy the product, you can get a repair disc. tell me what you guys think of it.

Hi, sorry but I just burned the disk and tried it, and it does not appear to contain an ISO image. So I think that the disk is meant to repair the files that Windows 7 uses to start up, not to reinstall the copy of Windows. So it is a cool feature, but I don't think its what you thought it was. : )

Hi cobija This disc is just what it's name implies. It does not containnthe complete installation files. It only contains the files need to access the system from the WinPE (Windows Pre-Installation) invironment. This is a bootable disc that allows you to have access to the reapir options such as: Startup Repair Command Prompt Backup Restore From the Command prompt option, you can also acccess the system volime to make repairs and other maintenance procedures. This was one of the most requested features in Windows Vista.Hope this helps.
