Not much you can really do about it. Spammers can easily 'spoof' the from address in emails they send out to make it look as if they come from someone whose address they have collected. This could be because at some time either your PC, or someone else's that has your email address in their contact list was infected with malware that collects email addresses, or you posted your email address on some web site, such as a forum. However, it would be advisable to scan your PC with a good antimalware program, such as malwarebytes or superantispyware (both have free version available), just to make sure your PC is clean.. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php http://www.superantispyware.com/ Download, install, let it check for updates, let it scan your PC, let it fix what it finds. Otherwise, you could, if your ISP gives you the option, register a new email address and use that and tell your friends to ignore any message that comes from your old one.<m.carol> wrote in message news:Email removed for privacy...Something/one has my email addresses and is sending out "Make money at home" messages to all my people.
