Someone on facebook hacked my Outlook Express 2007 password and changed it. Help

What type of email account? There's no way changing a password on Facebook can have any effect on your mail account, but if you made the your email address public and used the same password for both your mail account and Facebook, someone could have taken over your mail account. Good password practices demand that all of your passwords be different, be composed of upper and lower case letters, digits, and special characters, that they be at least eight characters long (although ten is better), and that you do not ever post your mail address in public locations.
