Some winidows updates not working
My current security solution is AVG's full internet security suite. I have noticed my computer has never been able to install certain updates, its now gotten to 12 and i have tried every kind of FAQ answer to try and fix it - this is the list of updates that wont update KB977863 KB971468 KB975560 KB978601 KB980232 KB981332 KB929099 KB975496 KB976662 KB977074 KB978637 KB980408 If you have noticed these are all security/regular system updates, none which install If anyone has the same or similar issue any help would be great, my windows support has "run out" and last time i went through them (following all there steps) nothing worked. Im very close to reinstaller but is a massive pain. Thanks anyway!

Do you automatic updating these security updates through Windows Update? Try disabling Windows Firewall and other security software, then get the update again. BTW, you can try downloading these updates through Microsoft Update. Security updates are also available from the Microsoft Download Center. You can find them most easily by doing a keyword search using the words security update and the month the update was released. Best Regards Dale

Downloading dosn't seem to be the issue - its the installer part, i have manually downloaded them before as well and all them have failed :(
