Especially YouTube... I get a caution sign on top of the internet icon, indicating I have now limited connection. Only way to fix that is to disable and enable the network adapter back. If I only surf forums and all, there isn't much problem. I noticed it happens a lot on flash based websites, Youtube, AOL News photos etc. When I watch low quality YouTube videos, there isn't any problem either, I mean connection wise, it doesn't drop, it is choppy, but doesn't drop. As soon as I switch to hi-quality, connection drops.My laptop's wireless adapter doesn't have the same problem. My XP install in another partition has no problem either. I can't find drivers for this Intel Pro 1000 PM adapter, so I have no clue how to fix this. I am not seeing a difference yet.

Well dropping to 100 Mbs Full Duplex affected my bandwidth it seems like, speedtest.net reported only 2900 kbps download speed, compared to 14000 something when it was Auto Negotiate? What gives?

Sir, as you said, I changed the values. Adaptive Interframing is either enabled or disabled, so I enabled it. Flow control is also enabled but there are enabling options for it, so I picked Rx & Tx Enabled. Seems to be working and youtube hasn't brought down the connection yet. I will report back to you.

It has a built in Intel(R) PRO/1000 PM NIC. I could not find the latest drivers for it and I am using what came with Win 7. The settings change I did as instructed above however helped a little. I can now watch YouTube videos but not the HD or HQ ones, for those I have to wait and buffer a little. Hulu seems to be working well.
