Hi,

  After updating from Window 8 to 8.1 preview, I noticed some of the following:

  - App Stores no longer accessible, by complaining the internet connection.  While I am able to upload this e-mail using IE on this same machine.  Why it cant detect the internet connection anymore?  Win 8 don't have this problem.

 - All 3rd party Windows 8 apps that were installed, are not transferred to 8.1.  Must re-install from App Store which keep complaining about internet connection.

 - All the previously installed programs need to be re-installed

- This preview is a disappointment.

About the first issue, I suggest you open Modern UI IE and see whether it give any error. If it cannot get Internet access, the built-in connection troubleshooter will be available on the screen. Try it and see if the issue can be fixed.

About the others, I will record them.

     Does it means that I have to revert back to Windows 8 in order to ever use Apps store again?

If I don't wish to revert to Windows 8, how long more to wait for 8.1?
