i have now changed my Windows 7 OS for Windows 8 and have some problem With getting the smart card to work with my program, in pcsc mode everything worked great on Windows 7 and i have done exactly the same install procedure on the Windows 8 computer but Windows keeps reseting my card on random intervals..  smart card PnP has been disabled thru gpedit so thats not the problem

i found this info about changes to the Windows 8 smart card system and i think thats the problem but cant figure out how to disable the New 5 Seconds reset policy:

There may be some misunderstanding on the policy Smart Card Plug and Play service, if it was set to be Disabled, a device driver is not installed when a smart card is inserted in a smart card reader. Thats why we may fail to log on to system via Smart Card.
