Hello!

I have a problem with opening Office 2013 open/save dialog box on Windows 8.1. When I open this dialog in Word or Excel, the application freezes for 30-90 seconds. I think that the problem are currently unavailable network drives, but I need it for work in branch offices.

And the question is, how can I disable check availability of network drives or reduce time of lookup.

• On the Windows 8 Start screen, type Control Panel.
• Click or tap Control Panel.
• Under Programs, click or tap Uninstall a program. 
• Click or tap Microsoft Office 2013 and then click or tap Change.
• Click or tap QuickRepair, and then click or tap Repair. You may have to restart your computer after the repair process is complete. 

I shall also suggest you to go for a Clean Boot.

I have the same problem: erratically the "save as" window takes minutes to appear. The problem is present in several programs, like notepad. A single network location is mounted as drive.

Device: Acer Aspire R13, windows 8.1
