Hello All,

I have a slow load issue of user details in the FIM portal.

When the portal loads it is decent in the quickness, but when you click on a user to get the details there is sometimes a 15-30 second load lag for the first couple of users.

Any idea what could be causing this or how to speed this up? It says "loading" with a spinning circle.

did you follow the FIM SQL Server best practices ?

In Addition it the SQL Server on the local machine or remote ?

Do you use default UI (RCDC) or modified once with maybe a large amount of references or things like "group reporting" which search for example groups that a user belogs to ?

The system is separated,

with a sql cluster on one node, then FIM portal on another, then FIM Service on another.

I have a modified RCDC, witch a query running for direct reports. I but nothing other than that, no group searchers.

Which SQL instance are you referring to? The SharePoint SQL or the FIM Service and Sync databases?

since all data from Portal came from the FIM Webservice in this case the FIMService DB is relevant.

I am pretty sure that the environment here has not had any SQL maintenance in the past year for sure. I think I will need to try your steps listed to decrease database fragmentation.
