I am running Windows XP Home Edition, version 5.1.2600. In the last several weeks, the computer has slowed considerably. In Task Manager, CPU is shown at 100%. I have requested a download of a Hotfix in response to KB Article 890582. The accompanying message caused me concern, so the question is whether I have the right fix and is there any significant downside to trying it? 1 person needs an answerI do too
